Density plus reversal is an awkward combination. In a small square, the same run of letters can look like the start of one answer read forwards and the end of another read backwards, and both readings are legal. Expect to abandon a promising line and come back to it, which is exactly the challenge on offer.
The trimmed list leans towards the shorter sea words, which sounds merciful and is not: a brief word hidden backwards on a diagonal barely registers as a pattern at all. This is the version to reach for when a full page feels like too much time but the easy sheets have stopped holding your attention.
Pick one answer and hunt only for it, checking every direction out of each matching letter before you move to the next word on the list.
