What we collect, and nothing more

Wordnest collects no personal data. There is no account to create and nothing to hand over: grids are built inside your browser, and neither your play nor the words you type into the generator ever leave your device.

Two settings are kept locally, in your browser storage, and are never sent to us: your light or dark theme choice, and whether sound is on. Clearing site data erases them.

Audience measurement

This site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookieless measurement tool. It counts page views and where they came from, without setting a cookie, without a persistent identifier, and without following anyone from site to site. It is the only measurement installed.

There is currently no ad network on this site. If advertising is switched on later, this page will be updated first, and a consent banner will appear where the law requires one.

We send you no email at all. We do not have your address, unless you write to us yourself.

Who else sees this

Cloudflare hosts and delivers the site, and provides the measurement described above. Like any host, it handles the requests that reach it.

Nobody else. We sell nothing, we share nothing for advertising purposes, and there is no database in which to look you up.

Your rights

There is no account to access, correct, export or erase: we hold nothing about you. The settings kept in your browser are erased by clearing site data.

Children

Wordnest is a tool for adults who play, or who prepare sheets for others — teachers, parents, activity leaders. We do not knowingly collect any child’s data, which is all the easier since we collect none from any visitor.
