Medium adds the two diagonals, so a word can climb from bottom-left to top-right or fall from top-left to bottom-right. What it does not do is reverse anything: every answer still reads in its normal direction, first letter to last. That single guarantee is what keeps this level approachable even when the grid is full and the answers overlap.

At this size most of the theme fits, so the sheet covers the whole spread: the characters, the decorations, the food and drink, the sounds of the season. It is the version to hand to an adult who solves regularly, and the one most people choose when they want a single grid to keep a room busy for a while.

Finish the rows and columns before you look at anything slanted; whatever is left is diagonal by elimination, and tilting the page lets you read those lines straight.
