Diagonals are in play, forwards only, so the challenge comes from scale rather than from trickery. That balance is useful if you are handing sheets to a mixed room — an activity leader, a teacher or a family can leave this one going over an afternoon without anyone getting stuck on a rule.

Split the sheet into quarters and finish one before moving on. On a board this size, wandering eyes cover the same letters twice and still miss a corner.
