Reversal is the real change, not speed. Reading is a one-way habit, and a name spelled from its last letter does not look like a word until you read against the grain. The theme helps here: many of these words end on hard consonants, and a final K or G is easier to notice than a soft opening.

This square is the reference version of the hard level: enough room for the long entries, tight enough that reversed words cross the ones you have already found. It suits someone who finishes the medium grids without slowing down and wants the format to push back a little.

Before hunting a stubborn word, spell it backwards to yourself and look for that instead. A reversed entry then reads forwards, and your eye stops fighting the direction.
