Step into the kitchen and find every appliance, utensil and pantry staple hiding in the letters, starting with an easy grid if you like.
This kitchen word search covers the big appliances, the tools that hang by the stove, the dishes on the shelf and the pantry basics every cook reaches for. Kids pick up cooking vocabulary in a playful way, and each word comes with a French translation for bilingual families and language classes.
The page has three levels, easy, medium and hard, with sizes from 8×8 to 20×20. Easy grids read only left to right and top to bottom; medium adds diagonals, and hard also runs words backwards. Each grid is generated and then checked automatically by software, so every word is placed exactly once. It is free, needs no sign-up, and prints with an answer key.

Classroom activity idea
After solving, ask each student to plan a three-course meal using at least five words from the list and write which tools they would need. Pairs swap menus and check each other's choices. For a whole class, print different grids in batches of 1, 5, 10 or 30 copies.
Classroom use is allowed: print as many copies as your students need, free of charge, with no sign-up.
Many kitchen words share endings, so look for short tool names like whisk and ladle first; they are easy to spot and give you anchors for the longer appliance names.
