A puzzle for naming what the body picks up, from the organs themselves to the words that describe a feeling.
The word list gathers the body parts that gather information, the qualities we notice and the nouns we need to talk about them. Finishing the grid leaves students with a ready-made vocabulary for science notes, creative writing and art class.
This five senses word search comes in three levels, easy, medium and hard, with grid sizes from 8×8 to 20×20. Pick the size to match age and available time, then print as many different grids as you need, each with its answer key. Every grid is generated and then checked automatically by software.

Classroom activity idea
After the puzzle, run a sensory survey. Each student draws one word from the list, finds an object nearby that fits it and presents it in one sentence. For a harder round, hide small objects in an opaque bag and let a student describe one using only words from the grid, never naming it.
Classroom use is allowed: print as many copies as your students need, free of charge, with no sign-up.
Spot the uncommon letters first, like the V in FLAVOR, then use that anchor to find the words that cross it.
