A grid for exploring the inside of the body: the organs, the vessels and the big functions that keep us alive.
This organs word search moves from the head to the lower belly, passing glands and tubes with scientific names. It also teaches what links everything together: the flowing blood and the tiny units everything is built from. It is a good companion to science class, and a gentler way to memorise names that are often hard to spell.
The page has three levels, easy, medium and hard, with sizes from 8×8 to 20×20. On easy, words read left to right and top to bottom; medium adds diagonals; hard opens all eight directions, backwards included. Grids are generated, then checked automatically by software, and are free, printable and come with an answer key.

Classroom activity idea
Each student picks one organ from the grid and prepares a one-minute talk: where it sits, what it does, what harms it or helps it. The others listen, then tick the word on their list. End with a shared poster linking each organ to its body system.
Classroom use is allowed: print as many copies as your students need, free of charge, with no sign-up.
Scientific names contain rare letters, like the Y or the Z; start with those visual landmarks, as they stand out from the rest of the grid quickly.
