A puzzle that follows the crew from the first call to the return home, with their gear, their moves and their workplaces.
The list follows the flow of a callout: the signal, the departure, the tools on the apparatus, the protective clothing, then the words of the field. Students also meet prevention, a daily part of the job, such as checking a detector or planning an evacuation route.
This firefighter word search has three levels, easy, medium and hard, with grids from 8×8 to 20×20. A short 8×8 grid suits kindergarten, while older groups take on 20×20 with backward words. Every grid is generated and then checked automatically by software, and prints free with its answer key.

Classroom use is allowed: print as many copies as your students need, free of charge, with no sign-up.
